I’m a sucker for ukulele music, and for New Zealand music, and therefore NZ ukulele music makes my life complete.
This is the Wellington International Ukulele Orchestra, and you should find them through whatever purchasing channels you have at your disposal and buy all tracks by this fine ensemble that you can find, because they are Awesome. With a capital A.
And the song that they’re covering is The Bucket, by Kings of Leon, who I quite like as well, not as much as I used to, granted (not such a fan of their most recent couple of albums, I’m afraid), but still. I’m always partial to covers that retain awesomeacity even when having a completely different sound, and this is the case for WIUO, for every single freaking song that they do.
